Almost every community in Broward County has a nature walk, park, or greenway that is sure to offer many great opportunities for hiking, biking, and more. If you're looking to change things up, head over to Tradewinds Park & Stables in Coconut Creek for horseback riding. If you're more of a mall person and like to shop 'till you drop, check out The Galleria in Fort Lauderdale or Westfield Mall in Plantation. The Galleria, featuring brand name stores and high-end shopping, was originally an open-air mall but has been completely renovated and enclosed. At Westfield Mall in Plantation, Florida, you'll find the bigger department stores like Dillard's and Macy's, as well as many other name brands, specialty stores, and lots of options for snacking or dining.

If you're looking to satisfy an appetite, Broward County has a plethora of delicious and top-rated restaurants from which to choose.
